Talk to Prevent Sexually
Health
In the contemporary world, sex is no more a subject matter
which is talked about only behind the closed doors rather
people are bold enough to carry out open discussions
about it. In fact it is not only limited to discussion,
that is, more and more people are experiencing it and
that too at a comparatively younger age as compared
to traditional times. Thanks to exposure which kids
get these days through internet, cable TV, DVD’s
and so on.
It is not bad to talk about sex but one should not
forget to mention some important things associated with
sexual
intercourse like safe and protected sex, unwanted
pregnancies, STD’s (Sexually Transmitted Diseases)
and other related matters which are essential to protect
one’s sexual
health. Care should be taken while having illicit
sexual acts to prevent any kind of sexual disorder which
has become a serious men’s health issue over the
last several years.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC), STD rates in the United States are notably higher
than they were just a few years ago. The worse part
about this is the fact that a lot of STDs can go undiagnosed.
This can happen if one have an STD but he does not have
symptoms as a result he may not realize that he have
an STD and could unknowingly pass the disease along
to someone else.
That’s why it’s imperative to get tested
for STDs on a regular basis if you’re not in a
mutually monogamous relationship. Moreover, as young
adults are often uncomfortable to tell a doctor or parent
about symptoms they’re having. Thus, talking to
teens about sex and STDs becomes absolutely necessary
irrespective of your caste or religion in order to protect
their long-term health. After all health is wealth and
when it comes to sexual health it is an invaluable possession
to be cherished throughout life.
