Erectile Dysfunction 'Led To PC Child Porn Images'

BRISBANE: Terry Nolan, 51, of Forest Lake,
pleaded guilty in the Brisbane District Court
to two counts of possessing child exploitation
material and two counts of possessing tainted
property between April 2, 2005 and June 27,
2006.
“Child sex images were found on his computer
and compact discs after police were alerted
to the missing laptop by his previous employer”
said by Crown prosecutor Petrina Clohessy.
“Nine video files and 16 images featuring
children aged between seven and 15 engaged in
sex acts were found.”
He used to download 1000 adult pornographic
images a day in an attempt to "self-cure"
erectile dysfunction. .
Mr Wilson said that he has no interest in
child pornography. These images make him disguised
but he is doing all this to cure its erectile
dysfunction and not for money As he had
not paid for nor distributed the files.
Mr Wilson said the offences contributed to the
loss of Nolan's marriage of 18 years and the
freedom to work in his chosen field as a computer
programmer, at least while on bail
He was now having counseling for his marital
and medical issues.
Several references - including one from his
former wife and his brother - were tendered
to the court for consideration.
Judge Neil McLaughlan QC sentenced him to two
years' probation and ordered no conviction be
recorded
