Health Tip: Low Testosterone in Men

Health Day News) -- Testosterone is a male
sex hormone that plays a part in sperm production,
facial hair and muscle growth. Testosterone
levels often drop as a man gets older, but low
testosterone also can result from genetic, reproductive
or endocrine abnormalities.
If you think you may have low testosterone,
see your doctor. Here are some common symptoms,
courtesy of the Men's Health Foundation:
• Low libido.
• Erectile
dysfunction.
• Moodiness, depression, fatigue or difficulty
concentrating.
• Reduction in muscle, strength and bone
density.
• Osteoporosis.
